We used the drive-thru and the service was extremely slow. Only 1 car ahead of us and we sat there 20 minutes. When we finally got to pull up the girl at the window was rude. We waited another 10 minutes and our food finally came. She gave it to us and just closed the window. No way to treat customers

Fresh food and great workers with only the drive thru open they were quick and courteous

No stars sit for 20 minutes in drive through no response went in and ordered after waiting 30 minutes ended up with a refund and rude customer service

Why KFC has changed I don't know. They seem to never get your order complete. 5 x no cookies in 5 fill ups. The chicken strips are way too hard to eat. And my extra biscuits or extra Cole slaw is always missing. It's a great little museum of history but definitely not worth driving for. Unfortunately we've switched to bojangles, Cane's, and chic fillet. Sorry KFC ....

I loved coming here and learning about the history of KFC with my family...so cool!

Very friendly staff, awesome museum, and delicious food! If you visit definitely go inside, but if you get food, go through the drive thru. You'll save yourself lots of time.

Food was freshly made. I enjoy eating at this location due to the history behind the location.

Great food and friendly service. If you have never been here this is the 1st KFC ever and it has a small museum in it you can visit for free.

I'm not giving the food 5 stars. The food was just KFC, same old same old. So that food I rate at 2 stars...This place gets 5 stars bc it's a part of the KFC history and it was cool and interesting to see how it started and everything this place offered like lodging and gas. Worth the trip even if it's a little out of the way.

Such a pleasant lunch! Just as good as any other KFC and you get a history lesson? Oh my son had a lot of fun looking at all the exhibits while eating. Oh it was a nice experience.

Discriminated against me because I was in a wheelchair. Yup, I got passed over 6 times in favor of serving the people behind me. What really gets me is the people behind me had no scruples in passing me up as well.

Best kfc hands down but it should be because this is where it all started! Don't make the mistake of just getting one biscuit. You will hate yourself.

It's a neat stop if you are touring around the area. Showcased vintage memorabilia representative of the original KFC, such as cash registers and kitchen appliances. Other than that, the food wasn't anything special. Chicken was too greasy for my taste and the coleslaw was bland. I get it that it is a fast food chain, but I expected more since this is the original KFC.

Haven't eaten there in years. Yes, this is the original. Lots of people love KFC. I drive by there often and see people taking selfies in front of the restaurant and in front of the official sign in front. I'm not slamming those who love KFC mind you. I'm just not a fan of the chicken there or any other KFC. But for those who want to eat there for historical reasons, rock on. Enjoy and take lots of pics.

Fabulous place to learn about Mr Sanders. Very cool place, lots of history from how it all began. We really enjoyed our visit here, and made a special trip just to see it. The food was delicious, and the history was awesome. There were replicas of the kitchen, bedroom, the original sign that was once was on the highway

only worth going because it's the first KFC ever. Food in there is the exactly the same as in any other kfc, and the staff is just decent. The first KFC deserves something way better than what they have now, which is just a few displaying old things like a kitchen, a bedroom, and a register. Just once in a lifetime is good enough unless you live nearby.

Took 20 minutes to get a small cup of macaroni with only 10 people in front of us. Location is nostalgic though and the artifacts are really cool! The overall vibe was neat and I can see someone who loves chicken being excited about this place. Not too far off of the highway, worth it

An interesting look into the past. Certainly KFC Chicken is iconic as is the Colonel, but to see where things began at a roadside inn and Cafe was a treat. Seeing the kitchen setup, the old office, it is worth the short trip from the highway. If you have the time, take it.

I buy my dinner there at least 3 days a week. I love kfc. Although today girl at the drive thru was rude. And when I got my hot wings they had been microwaved needless to say they were nasty.

Food could have been fresher. Staff definitely needs to be more friendly. This is not one of those Appalachian Mountain redneck restaurants, this is the birth place of KFC. So expect and respect lots of visitors from all over the world.

Great food and great service

Drive thru was a bit slow, this place is constantly jammed up, it's the original KFC after all. Food sometimes at night tastes like it may be as old. Overall, great between noon and 6 p.m. can't beat it!

Good food but the original location in corbin needs to train thier employee's to be less abrasive and not blame the customers when they mess up. The location in london was perfect.

Very interesting place, it is where all this business started, you can take a little tour around the restaurant to see the old story of the KFC man. Their meals are really cool and better than other branches.

A real iconic spot while travelling the scenic route Hwy-25. Wasn't near meal time but we simply had to get something from where it all began. I was very curious how the chicken would taste......and YES it tastes exactly the same as at any other KFC in the country. Even out of country, we're from Canada! It's a picture memory to hold on for ever.

Awesome. Wanted to go forever and was not disappointed. Food was normal kfc but museum was totally worth it. Had a good time.

I don't know if ever single employee is on their first day or what, but even the manager was pointedly turning his back to customers so he wouldn't have to deal with them. 20 minutes for tenders and the potato wedges were rock solid. Not a good night for the Original Sanders Cafe
